We offer Online Recorded and Live Streaming EMS CEs

Welcome to Jon Puryear EMS CE and thank you for visiting our website!  We offer many different types of EMS CE classes, NREMT Preps, and packages like NREMT Reviews and Online NREMT Refreshers.  The classes are taught mainly by Jon Puryear, NRP who teaches in an entertaining way that helps you understand the material and always learn.  Our CEs are accepted by the NREMT as a Texas approved CE Program both Recorded (F3) and Live (F5 VILC).  



  • 1 hour CE classes (includes specialty classes like 12 Lead, Capnography, EKG, etc.)
  • 16 hour NREMT Prep (no CEs and used as a NREMT test prep)
  • 16 hour NREMT Review (issues CEs)
  • 24 hour EMT Refresher (issues CEs Traditional Refresher)
  • 36 hour Advanced Refresher (issues CEs using the Paramedic version)
  • 48 hour Paramedic Refresher (issues CEs Traditional Refresher)
  • NREMT Recertification Courses (EMT, Advanced/Paramedic)


If you need to recertify or take the NREMT exam, we have the packages/courses NREMT Recert Courses to take! If you need study material to increase your chances of passing the NREMT exam, take the NREMT Prep Class.  It is offered online recorded and also onsite live all over the nation.

There are many Online Recorded Classes and Refreshers offered including EMR, EMT, Advanced, and Paramedic levels.  You may take single classes or take many classes included in different course packages. These courses may be completed at your own convenience and are designed for Online Recorded NREMT F3 or State CE hours only.

There are many offered live Refreshers every month both day and night. The Online Live Classroom is very interactive with the Educators and other students typing in a chat room while watching the live video stream. You don't need a webcam or microphone.  They are offered the first and third full weeks of each month equaling 8 EMT and 4 Paramedic classes month.


If your NREMT certification has lapsed or failed the exam 3 times, this is the course I highly recommend because the pass rate is 92-95%!

Jon Puryear EMS CE performs the 16-20 hour EMT, Advanced, or Paramedic NREMT Prep live onsite.  It is taught at EMS Initial Programs and Agencies prior to their EMS students taking the NREMT written exam.  It is a two day course from 0800-1900 with an intense review from Operations to Abuse.  This may also be contracted for EMS Programs t

Jon Puryear EMS CE performs the 16-20 hour EMT, Advanced, or Paramedic NREMT Prep live onsite.  It is taught at EMS Initial Programs and Agencies prior to their EMS students taking the NREMT written exam.  It is a two day course from 0800-1900 with an intense review from Operations to Abuse.  This may also be contracted for EMS Programs to play the recorded version in their classroom to their students. These Prep Courses will also issue Texas CE Hours to currently certified individuals to be applied to their recertification! Have outsiders take your course, too!

RECERTIFY YOUR NREMT CERTIFICATION WITH OUR PACKAGE!

NREMT Recertification Packages with a $40 REFUND

Take our Online or Recorded Refresher Course and the Online Recorded 16 hour NREMT Review and recieve the required NCCP CE hours to recertify by March 31st.  If you purchase BOTH courses, you will receive a $40 refund to your purchase of one payment!  


EMTs for taking the Recorded Refresher will be total $140 for 40 hours and Advanced/Paramedics taking the Recorded Refresher will be $240 for 64 hours. (If you don’t need the extra 16 hours, don’t purchase the 16 hour NREMT Review and the cost is only $200 for the Online Recorded Refresher).


If you choose to take the Online Live Refresher to get it done without procrastinating, it includes the Recorded 16 hour NREMT Review for FREE!. The EMT is $200 and the Advanced/Paramedic is $400 total.  Some individual states still require Live F5 VILC CE hours but the NREMT allows ALL  recertification CE hours to be either Live or Recorded.

This is an Online Recorded 16 hour NREMT Prep that includes Training Videos with Jon Puryear teaching the class with PowerPoints and the class handout. This class was an Online Live Prep Class that was recorded so it feels that you are taking an actual live class.  It has an approximate 92-95% pass rate.

We have a NO REFUND policy. Once you register and pay for a class, we already have paid our costs for your course and finance fees.  We refund the cost if you purchased the wrong course and then purchase the correct course. You have one year to complete the course.
